You have a few good alternatives to work with and professional followers. I won't promote credit cards. I don't approve of their tactics and how they have hurt Americans. Recently I made phone calls to some mortgage companies making loan promises and found that a number will take fees from internet sign ons and can't deliver what they promise. I like Suze Orman. She's honest and probably not selling a book full of verbal sales pitches. Alternative tax programs are good for tax for dummies people.
The Identity theft programs is a good idea. I'll have to do some homework on it. The media has done a fantastic job in helping to scare the heck out of everyone so they are primed for a sale . We should thank them.
Unfortunately I feel compelled to investigate companies before promoting them. It's a moral issue.

Steve,

What do you mean by tax campaigns? FileLater is up and running on commission junction. If you mean something different by a campaign, email me.

Thanks!

Thank you so much. Our credit site was making money but when the credit crunch hit we panicked and didn't know which way to turn. You have given us some hope that there is a better way. We are regrouping as of today. Thank you!!

I simply love Suze Orman's suggestions. They are honest and straight to the point. Totally different from the "pros" who are just selling instead of advising.

I also totally agree that is time to switch a bit the scope within the whole finacial affiliate towards credit help/watch tools instead of cards which are simply not available and whomever applies gets denied anyway.

Thank you

Rosalind,

Thanks for mentioning FileLater as part of your article (#7 Tax Services). We are very excited to work with our affiliates this year. There are over 10M individuals and 5M businesses who file for IRS tax extensions every year, and millions more who don't realize how easy it can be to get more time to do their income taxes.

Hopefully our growing affiliate network can help us reach out to let US taxpayers know that a tax extension is an easy, viable option for just about anyone... and that the IRS doesn't care, or even ask, why you want a tax extension - as long as you provide the right info and on time, it's automatic!

Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions, and thanks again for the mention!

Good list - there will be ample opportunities once credit opens back up. In the mean time only sites that have great content and can add true value will weather this storm.

There's interest in fast new pc's and fixing slow ones with cleanup products too.
People want to work online faster and get more done.

PC prices have never been better for a fast PC.

You're absolutely right about refocusing and slightly redirecting our credit card offers. I have made several affiliate sales and counting this week in both the credit repair and online college industries.

I also received my first CPA lead gen paypal commission of $40 from just one completed app in the college industry. All this from a one page squidoo lens I built several months ago and haven't touched since.

Needless to say I was hyped!
