What’s up with the picture of the poppy? The red remembrance poppy is an emblem of Remembrance Day due to the poem In Flanders Fields. These poppies bloomed across some of the worst battlefields of Flanders in World War I, their brilliant red colour an appropriate symbol for the blood spilt in the war.

Great to have These lists every Month, ros! Thank you!

  2. Eric Johnson says:

Hey, Rosalind, thanks for that comprehensive list. Of course, we can not only relate these themes to affiliate products, we can use them as inspiration for writing articles or posts. (By the way, do you have a “one-stop-shop” source for what days throughout the year are dedicated to?)

    • Hi Eric,

You’re welcome and my pleasure. But sorry, no ‘one-stop shop’. I’ll try to maintain this lists and then create a single post that links to each month… just for you! :-)

      Cheers,
      Ros

  3. Jon Sollie says:

Ros…just scanning the lists above and realizing the vast marketing potential lurking about has got me plum wore out! So much to do, so little time. Many thanks!

    All the best,

    Jon

  4. ~(G)Q says:

Thanx for the list, Ros, I never knew until now that I was born on “Have a Bad Day Day”. This explains many things that puzzled me over the years, i.e. why my Mother made me the poster child in her campaign for retroactive abortion, (among others…).

    Yep…’splains much…*rolls eyes* LOL!

Love ya, Ros, take good care!

  5. Emily says:

“Have A Bad Day Day”? Good grief, who thought that one up? Think I’ll pass on that one.

On the other hand, I am ahead of myself with “Eat A Cranberry Day”… I’m discovering they’re not too bad if you just eat one at a time with a bite of a food that is sweeter.
