Ros Turns 50

Ros-turns-50

Will wonders never cease? I’m 50. I’m actually so blown away by that fact that “Will wonders never cease?” is what’s going on my birthday cake. Anyway, as much as you should be able to do whatever you want on your birthday (for me, that would be blogging and working on the AffiliateBloggerPro project — [...]

Family First: Unable to Attend Denver Affiliate Convention

I got the phone call this morning that you DON’T ever want to get – “Hi, this is so-and-so from such-and-such hospital in Toronto and your mother fell down the steps this morning and broke her hip. She is here awaiting surgery.” My mom is 95 and lives on her own, so this is the [...]

THRILLED to be Back Online

OMG, I’m connected to the Internet! Hurray!!!! Imagine being an Internet marketer at an affiliate marketing conference and not having an Internet connection from your hotel room for 5 days. Well, I accidently ‘pruned’ 3/4′s of the posts. No problem, I’ll just use the backup. At least that’s what I thought [...]

I need a better accounting system…

Just in case you thought all was perfection and fun vacations in ‘Ros-land’, here’s a pic that Ed took of me this afternoon. Yes, that’s me sitting on the floor amidst a pile of Visa, American Express, banking, utility and other business statements. Yes, I do have both a bookkeeper and an accountant – but [...]

Remembering Randy Pausch

I was deeply saddened to learn that Carnegie Mellon computer science professor, Randy Pausch, passed away last Friday at the age of 47 from pancreatic cancer. Pausch became famous for his inspirational Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams (see video below) delivered in September 2007. Many professors give talks titled “The Last Lecture” in [...]
