Amazing and inspirational story! I’ve always dreamed of working at home so that I could spend more time with my family and now living with that dream. I started joining PTC sites though some are scam so I only maintain one that is reliable. I also joined odesk.com since you can apply there for any online jobs that you prefer. It may not be easy at first since you need to work on you profile but it’s worth it once you get started.

Thanks for sharing the time it took to achieve full-time income from home Rosalind! I think so many people do not look at affiliate marketing like any other legitimate business and forget that achieving success takes time and effort.

I’m glad it’s not an easy-get-rich-quick type of business, otherwise the market would be saturated by everybody and their dog trying to setup an Affiliate site. I’m at the stage of developing my content and have found that the journey to setting up my first Affiliate site is a lot more work and learning than I imagined, but I’m sticking to a plan and know I will get there. I’m determined to do this right and make a good living at it, and have found out that like anything worthwhile, a lot of persistence and effort is irequired to Succeed. It may sound odd, but I find a certain comfort in knowing that. In the end I think a true affilate marketer can be proud of their accomplishments when they see the results of their hard work.

Been wondering as well on the same question for quite a while. I am working online as well and I started on ptc sites too. I was one of those impatient aspirants to earn money online “quickly”. Experience taught me that patience is really a virtue. Success is a step by step process , each process a unique learning experience.

Nice article. It great to read real stories about those that have been successful. I sure there are many people out there with dollar sign in their eyes thinking that they can make tons of money on the internet, The old saying is so true, “if were easy, everybody would be doing it.” That is what I think frequently as I work many hours a day on my site 7 days a week in most cases. I’ve only been at it since Feb. 2009 and have made 0$ so far, but I am bound and determine to not give up until I see that I am successful.
