OK, I admit I go on a total rant in this video about how NOT to promote Clickbank products — probably because it’s my own product, but also because this is a GREAT example of bottom-of-the-barrel affiliate marketing.
On another note – don’t tell me how great my instruction is and then produce something like shown in this video — this work is the antithesis of everything I teach about becoming a successful affiliate marketer.

Oh, my, gosh!! I can not believe what I just saw in this video! Roz, I don’t know how you kept it together at all through this! Wow. I am just dumb-founded to see such “uneducated” effort. And I’m so new to IM that I don’t even know what my niche will be yet, let alone have my blog put together yet! (Wanna get it right from the start:) Knowledge is power…
I would hate to think I would EVER do as poorly setting up a sight as was done here, even without all the proper training from the SAH and ABP and just plain following and learning from you Roz! Good grief! (I don’t think this person ever even READ the SAH!) So sad…

I might do another yearly prediction video – I might not. Right now my prediction would be ‘more of the same’ with the exception of increased use of mobile marketing – something I don’t plan to get into anytime soon, so it would be hard for me to discuss.

This one had my eyes popping out of my head. This should make any internet marketer that’s been rough on themselves lately feel world’s better about their abilities. The glaring errors smacked me in the face when you first showed the page. I had a good laugh even if it’s really a sad thing.
BTW, for some reason you have about a minute and a half of dead space at the end of the video.

Since Youtube chooses the thumbnails for you (usually the halfway point of the video), one of the techniques to choose the thumbnail you want is to extend your video so the halfway point is your ideal image for the video.

OK, so yeah…..that site was really bad. Supposing this individual is brand new to IMing, I give them points for at least taking action instead of waiting for it to be perfect. Granted, they could’ve gotten much closer to perfect than this, but as the saying goes “Ready -> Shoot -> Aim”

It seems not making any sense to me that who-ever would buy your well-indexed SAH and then go off to making such a blatant disaster promotion.
I suspect of competition’s foul’s game… In anyway, they’re being absolutely stupid…

I certainly don’t do everything correctly and have a lot of cleanup to do on some of my sites, but this makes mine look like Madison Ave. had a day with it.
With all the free info available, there should be no way that site got out.

Hah! You had me at the prop noise for the jet engine. I also wanted to shove hot pokers into my eyes…that site looked so unprofessional.
I hope there are zero clickthroughs and they are forced to learn their lesson.
But about the sound effect…remember Airplane! ? They used a prop plane sound effect in the cockpit scenes. I could always tell the people who really knew planes from those that didn’t if they “got” that joke
retweeted. maybe the world will learn.
Oh wow! Thanks for showing what not to do! While at least this person did try, it is a sad effort. There’s so much information out there! It’s always useful to see examples of what shouldn’t be done.
Oh my goodness, that is one of the worst sites I’ve seen in a very long time. I’m sure that my first site or two were not great, but how could anyone think they could put up a site as junky as that and actually sell anything? Someone should contact this foolish person and offer to set up a decent site for them, for a nice fee of course.
The evident slip-up clouted me in the face when you first showed the page here. I have a lot of onslaught to do on some of my sites.
The “How Not To Promote ClickBank Products” video brought me my biggest laughs of the day. Every time you went beck to the page with the jet image as the header with the sound of a Cessna, I LOL’ed! Your complete disdain for this affiliate’s methods was right on target and pointing out the problems was entertaining.
OK, now I will look over your site and sign up for the summary updates.

Excellent video. Thanks for sharing. It appears that someone went through a lot of trouble to create a site that won’t make them a dime. That was a really cool airplane sound though. I really liked how it played every single time you reloaded the page. That wasn’t the least bit annoying. (Please tell me that you can detect the sarcasm here.)

I guess that some people don’t really get how those types of bloopers get noticed by others.
Well, my curiosity got the better of me, enough to look up entrepreneur007.com and have a look at the hosting site, tiptopwebsite.com, as well. The sample sites I glanced at on the hosting site looked fine as far as formatting went. The hosting site boasts it is “Simply the easiest way to create and have a website online!”. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear like it was for the user of this site, who has probably abadoned the site based on the following info I located.

Nice to know that it’s unlikely your “rant” as you put it will hurt anyone’s feelings. Good site to use as an example. Dial-up just takes too long to watch the whole video. Got your book though, get your emails & gotcha on facebook too. For the person who wants a deal on Affiliate Blogger Pro maybe something like you did for donations for Haiti would entice them. It’s what got me to buy after following you for years.

Well, about that video, we all have to start somewhere, lol! I am not too proud of my first site myself, but hey it is still converting today so it is probably not that bad! And he have a concept: plane + fortune = oh well forget it.

Yes, we’re very luck here re being able to have US dollar accounts with little hassle. Can’t believe I’d say this… but I love RBC. They treat me right.
And YES… I SO hate that “scam” approach to marketing. Actually, I have a policy against that, and should enforce it with my affiliates. Maybe when I have more time.
Then again, if you look up Rosalind Gardner scam, my own site is one of the first to come up. How’s THAT for revenge? LOL
