"I also would like to have your permission to send you some material you can start providing to your list."

Doncha just love it? A total stranger comes out of nowhere just to do you a favor. What a sport! Of course, he undoubtedly sent the very same email to many others. What these jokers don't get is that an email list is very precious. Sending unknown 'stuff' (the kindest word I can think of at the moment) to our customers would be stupid. What a waste of time and effort.

That grammar would be ringing huge warning bells for me. Like you said Ros, he had no idea of how to create a win-win solution.

Sometimes I go to my gmail spam folder and hit the delete all link before I quickly browse through the sender's names and the subject lines... I get tired of emails like this one... but I wonder afterwards how many emails I've deleted that I should be reading. Oh well!

Poorly written, GENERIC boilerplate - yep this sets off all kinds of alarm bells!
He didn't even take the time to customize this to your specific product(s)!

Delete, indeed!

Bright Blessings, Ros!

Hi Tom,

No kidding. What strikes me as really sad - because I've now received a number of these letters - is that they might be included in a package sold to new affiliates or Internet marketers. Aargh. Get that 'Delete' button warmed up!

Cheers,
Ros
