WordPress 2.1 is Available

WordPress 2.1 “Ella”, named for jazz vocalist Ella Fitzgerald, was released just four days ago and includes over 550 bug fixes. To see a sampling of what’s in the new version visit WordPress.

But BEFORE you install the new version, be sure to read my geek-girlfriend Teli Adlam’s suggestions about the WordPress upgrade which she cautions ‘should not be taken lightly’.

    Hi Ros,

    I don’t think I’m gonna go for the upgrades due to the stress and hassle of past upgrades.

    In particular some of my ESSENTIAL plugins have a compatibility issue.

    Yeah, I know I can get a programmer to sort it out by the time I have paid for multiple upgrades I may as well have put a down payment on office space.

    LOL
