The Yahoo! Search engineering teams are rolling out updates to crawling, indexing, and ranking algorithms. Similar to previous updates, you may notice some ranking changes and page shuffling during the process, which we expect to complete over the next few days.

Ever since the infamous ‘Florida’ update at Google a few years back, where over 60 of the top 100 Internet marketing listings got knocked right out of Google, it’s hard to see algorytm changes as good things – that is until the engines learn to rank sites based on the quality of content it provides and not 10 or 20 manipulatable factors.

Regarding the Yahoo Storm, I hope for the best.
Still being relatively new to this whole process, I can only hope I’ve done things properly on this second site, at least much better than the first, though I have tried to fix some of those nasty mistakes.
I guess with any kind of storm, you just ride it out.
Hi Ros – I wonder if they will follow in the steps of google and place more emphasis on load time. I have found that my sites perform better since I have streamlined the themes… interesting…
