A bit disappointed

I hate to start my association with NPT with a somewhat controversial question- why don't NPT's affiliate links show in the browser status bar? All the other links on the site do.

Before anyone flames me, let me clarify that I am neither a troll nor is it my intention to cast aspersions. I am just about to purchase the Super Affiliate Handbook which emphasizes being ethical, so it's almost sneaky and a bit disappointing.

But, may be there is a simple explanation?

Can you show me an example of where that is happening?

I do at times use an onmouseover script and forget to put the domain name into the onmouseover part... but I hope that doesn't happen TOO often.
