Hi there I am new to this forum, to internet and affiliate marketing. In trying to get through all the hype and exaggeration I am trying to get at the best way forward. I have SAH and like Ros's lower key and educational approach both in the book and on this Blog.
In doing some research I have come across the Internet Marketing Center's Advanced Mentor Team program. It is a one on one mentoring approach and is probably very expensive. Does anyone know anything about this? I have also looked into Ken Evoy's SBI program which is most likely much less $$!
Thanks from a Newbie

Hi Misty/Neil,
I have no experience with IMC's program, so I can't offer any info on it but I am a Site Build It owner/affiliate so I can tell you what I like about it.
In addition to Site Build It having their own forums with lots of helpful people like Ros has here on these forums, SBI also has free training courses you can download and use without having to sign up for anything.
Just off the top of my head, I know there's a Make Your Site Sell course, a WAHM (Work At Home Mom) one, the Affiliate Masters course and the Netwriting Masters Course. That was what initially drew me to them because I'm all about getting to try something for free before shelling out any money to anyone.
I once posted that Ros' SAH is the best affiliate training book I've paid for and Ken Evoy's free downloads are the best free training I've ever found.
So, if you're interested in the free SBI downloads, you're welcome to use my affiliate link Free Sitesell Downloads
Or, to skip my link, simply type "http://freetrial.sitesell.com" into your browser and once the page loads, scroll down to the Download A Free Book section and download as many of the free courses as you want.
It's that simple.
If you have any questions, just let me know and I'll do my best to answer them.
Hope you find one you like.
If you get a chance, let me know what you think. And If I find any info on the IMC Mentoring, I'll post it here.
Good luck!

Thanks, Michael. I had looked at SBI and in fact sent some questions to them. They are the only people to actually respond personally to my inquiries. I guess that tells you something!
I have looked at many courses, the latest being Ken McCarthys System home course.
I have wavered about SBI, thinking that they are limited in some ways but it may be a very good way to get started at a reasonable price that includes good support and a solid system.
My theory now says that if I want to get more sophisticated skills I can always do that as I go along. The important thing it to actually do something and get started!
Thanks for your response. It is good to know that there are real people out there!

| I haven't heard of IMC but I teach SEO face-to-face and can say that the students prefer this to online learning, as they can get their questions answered immediately, usually with their own site as an example. So you should ask them whether they give you custom attention. |

Education, it is the one which is most valuable to human. If people don't have education in their childhood days they can get knowledge through distant education and Online education. We can learn till our death.
