Throughout the thread, you only express "respect" for Ros, even though you show none whatsoever to anyone else.

That is incorrect. How could you say such a thing? >>Notice that I only expressed my lack of regard for the ones who particularly responded in an uncalled for manner. Not everyone acted that way.

I didn't mind being corrected by Rosalind because she did it in a respectable way. But the other two of you are not what I would consider having regard for.

Your initial post, all activity it generated in this forum and every viewing of this thread has done and will continue to do wonders for my publicity. Your actions have increased my traffic and sales.

Unfortunately for you, it's also made you look very, very bad.

I'm not in any way afraid of that statement Very Happy You are wrong to say it makes me look very, very bad. Because that is simply not very, very true. Besides I'm above being concerned by such things.

Well, it's great to hear that my initial post has generate all the activity in this forum to increase your traffic and sales.

Like I said in my second post:

But if you tell me that his book is about other forms of home business and not internet marketing (which was not explicitly implied), then I will find it understandable that those mistakes on his site are ok.

Your response:

Dan wrote:
Its purpose is to help people considering or starting a home business avoid such unnecessary expense and make a rational, well thought out decision about entering the home business world.

basically nullifies what I first said about it, and so clarifies what I said about:

Rosalind's reply help me understand that it wasn't exactly what I thought it was. So that is why I explained why I had that impression on my second post.

So your product creates real value for people and does not bring death to the world's economy. And best of all, it's personally writen by you.

So the result of this activity increasing your traffic and sales is the right thing.

So it isn't trash after all, that's great.

Hi All,

I'm happy to see that you responded here, Dan. Good work! Smile

personally I would find the person not credible if the site was not in tip top condition.

Almost every site has a problem or two, especially those that are run by one or two-person homebased businesses.

That's no reason to launch a full-scale attack on the owner, nor accuse him or her of being less than credible.

If you take a look around NPT you'll find errors here, there and everywhere.

I appreciate when folks contact me through the support desk and politely let me know, so that I can correct those errors.

On the other hand, if someone were to accuse me of "causing death to the world economy" because of a broken link... well, I don't think I'd take that person too seriously... Smile

Anyway, I hope we've all gotten this out of our systems. A little forum war isn't going to solve the world's problems and takes time away from our sites.

Happy webbing!

Cheers,
Ros

Hello to one and alll,

Apparently not all the kinks are out of Dan's site just yet. I tried to download the book a few minutes ago and received a "File Not Found" error on his download link. I have emailed him about this, hopefully all will be resolved shortly...I was really looking forward to reading his book and didn't want to wait. But I can be patient.

Take care,
Ed
