Direct sales

Hi does anyone have any remarks on direct sales. Selling products to customers utilizing the Internet for marketing.
Just reading about my options on a home business.
Appreciate any replies.

Direct Sales usually implies outside of the Internet. It's those 10 page long letters you get in the mail. These seem to be decreasing over time. But they are still mailed and still work. However, they are expensive to get started while marketing on the Internet isn't nearly so.

So if you are selling a physical product and marketing on the Internet you are still doing Internet Marketing. The type of product doesn't determine what you call the marketing.

But that's just semantics.

Do you have a product you are interested in selling or are you still exploring?

Direct sales can also imply a "MLM" type of business model as well...also known as Network Marketing.

The business model itself isn't bad...but unfortunately a few of the people involved in this type of business give it a "sour" taste.
