About 6 weeks ago I posted for a site review and got a few suggestions, some of which I implemented. In that time, the site has gone from pr0 to pr3, the traffic has almost quadrupled (this due to link partnering and article submissions I think).
I would like any suggestions on how to improve the site for SE ranking and improving conversions for my affiliate marketing. Also any gereral remarks would be appreciated as well. |

Hi James,
Good to see that your site is growing in size with lots of great content.
I would recommend that for ease of building, you might like to move all that content onto a Wordpress blog... or post any new content to a blog.
They're great for attracting free search engine traffic.
Cheers,

Hi James,
Lots of great content. I know a Goldenpinecone template when I see one! They rank well because google loves the layout. I think you have the on-page stuff sorted fine. Lots of great quality content. Now the fun begins. I think you need to broadcast your site to other doggie sites and get some one way links to it.
1. Create a press release and submit online
2. Find Doggie Blogs and post a comment with a link to your site OR email the site owner and tell them about your resource.
3. Find Doggie Forums and post on them.
4. Write articles and submit them to Article directories and other dog sites. Find dog sites that will accept articles from you. Use Free Pet Content Yahoo group.
5. Find good quality relevant sites and trade links. This could drive you direct traffic
6. Try some Social Networking stuff and get over to care2 . com and sign up. There are lots of animal rescue and pet lovers as well as welfare groups over there.
I know all about marketing pet sites as I run a few animal charity websites that rank real high...
Good Luck!
