Hello All
As an Affiliate marketer I have had a decent amount of success. However my only problem is with promoting programs with a forced optin. It seems that when ever I promote sites with them I make little sales. As an example of what I’m talking about I refer you to http://www.minisitecreator.com/ Excellent product and I stand behind it 100 percent. However it has a forced optin page, there for I can’t send my customers directly to the sales page, which in my case results in fewer sales for me. Maybe it’s just me I’m not sure. I have tried several different ads, etc. Anyone else have this problem?
Is there a way to bypass the optin and send the customer directly to the sales letter part of the site?

Hmm not sure, but maybe try sending Jim Edwards staff an email. |

Jason,
I don't have an answer one way or another but I know that Jim tests and tracks his results. MSC is not a cheap product.
I've found Jim's support system useful, think you can get to it from his blog.
He probably has an answer on conversion both ways. |

I can see how forced optin's can have less sales. As a newer affiliate publisher, I often scan websites with offers that might help me. I'm hesitant to view force optin sites. I don't like that I HAVE to give out my email or personal info just see what is being sold. It's the same with offers that don't clearly state prices upfront.
Too many scammers and spammers are out there and I've grown very careful about them. |

From the other side of the coin my forced optin lists convert way better than my non forced optins. Having a chance to sell someone an unlimited number of times is way better than whatever a one time visitor conversion might be for the sales page.
But I understand not wanting to get on so many lists. I think the ideal merchants would offer affiliates a choice.
I favor having the price right on the sales page, but there must be a reason for those who don't. Or at least they think there's one.
With ClickBank and a little knowledge it is possible to bypass the merchant's optin page and go right to the sales page, or even the payment page. And you don't have to be on anyone's list at Clickbank.
If you find something you really want to promote, and want to promote it your own way, ask the merchant. That's what I do. But usually they have an answer for why they do it their way. For example, Perry Marshall prefers affiliates send their traffic to his forced optin because it drastically increases his sales from the traffic. Affiliates make more. Everybody's happy.
But you have to have a merchant you trust who isn't actively overwriting your cookies.
