Just a quick note to say hi from a new member.
I grew up in Switzerland, lived in Canada for many years and now I've been living in Osaka, Japan for the past 9 years. Me and my lovely wife Rieko love hiking and traveling. When I'm not working on my computer or hunting for info on the net I like cooking and creating new recipes.
I am a writer of non-fiction books and plan to publish something new very soon. I love the act of creating.
See you in the forums, |

Hello Kevin and Welcome!
A non-fiction writer! Awesome... you have the perfect basis for an Internet business, if you're interested in publishing your work online...
Few things are more popular or marketable than information products.
Hope to see you in the Forum!
Cheers,
Ros |

Thanks Ros
My plan is to release some works on the Internet in early 2006 - I'll keep you posted.
BTW, used to live in Kamloops. Spent many a summer in the sunny Okanagan. Never saw Ogopogo (well, except for one hazy night in the old Penticton Inn) |

That's excellent, Kevin.
I look forward to seeing what you publish.
As for Ogopogo, the first time I went to Penticton, I called to him... "Here Ogopogo!" from the balcony of what used to be the Lakeside Inn.
I'm surprised they let me come back to Penticton, let alone move there.
Cheers,
Ros
P.S. For those unfamiliar with Ogopogo, here's some information about the legendary monster of Oganagan Lake. |

Welcome Kevin,
The only sea serpent that I am familiar with is Champ from Lake Champlain http://theshadowlands.net/serpent.htm#champ
I find these stories interesting and it could also be very profitable for the small town that reports one of these monsters. |
