Hello everybody, my name is Christina and I live in Australia. I am very happy to be joining you all here. I love learning and doing internet marketing. It is still really new here in Australia, so there aren't too many people around over here to have as mentors. That's why I'm extra specially happy to have found this website. My goal is to sell 11,000 e-books and then buy a house. I know it's a pretty big goal. Everybody I know thinks I can't do it, because I'm young and because I'm a girl, but I know I can. I love the book "Think and grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, he's my mentor, and I read his books a lot to help me reach my goal. I've been temporarily failing for over 5 years at various things, so statistics (hopefully!) would suggest that it's now time to succeed! (First I became a model, then I found out that all the good work is overseas, and my Dad won't let me go, then I started a dog tag engraving business, and I ended up making no profit at all by the time I engraved the tags and posted them out, so then I started another business selling kids rides until I found out that the cost of insurance was sky high in case a kid falls of a ride, and then I started a marketing business which was great until the place I was being an affilaite for (which was in some obscure location- I should have known better!) decided to just close down their website one day and not tell anybody where they went). So here I am! I'm all ready to go and rarin' for success. It's gonna be good talking to you all here, without copping that blank stare and stern expession I usually get followed by the words "You CAN'T do that!" which I seem to get when I tell people my goals. Welcome and it sounds like you have some great goals set for yourself. You can do it and you will as long as you take the right steps and stay focused.

Most negative comments come from family, friends etc and they will tell you things like don't waste your time or other comments that you probably already heard.

I am new to affiliate marketing as well but I do run a very successful web hosting company doing 6 figures a year and If I took the advice from my family & friends, I would probably be in some 4x4 cubicle somewhere...eek, the thought of that...anyways, good luck and keep pushing for your goals

Hi windycity, thanks for your answer. It's very true what you said about family and friends being the ones to say that the most. Lucky you didn't listen to your family and friends huh? Imagine you did listen to them, and now you would be stuck on a desk, like eating your lunch really quickly during your lunch break and rushing around working to make the other business owner rich, when now you are working to make yourself rich instead! I think you made a very wise choice not to listen to them. (Ps- I bet all the people who teased you all want to borrow money off you now!),
