Website: http://www.FloridaBeachReviews.com

I took a shot at a second site (www.FloridaBeachReviews.com) and incorporated the NPT comments and 'lessons learned' from the first site. I think this one looks much better. Instead of resizing the header image, I worked with it and put "sand" all around (like you're sitting on the beach).

I'm having a few issues with the way it appears in different browsers so I'll need to continue working on that. Also, I've only posted two reviews so far, but I'm working on several more.

BTW, Ros mentioned in her Super Affiliate Handbook that if you don't get approved for a particular affiliate program, write a nice note and they may change their mind -- it works! I was not approved by a company that I really wanted to work with so I sent a reply to their disapproval message and they reconsidered. Thanks for that bit of advice, Ros!

Any comments, suggestions or advice is appreciated!

Thanks,
Lori

Hi Lori

That site is looking better. I noticed that the content area is fluid, meaning the size adjusts for different sized browser windows. However, the header image is set to a smaller size, making the site title drift off the left side of the header image.

You have two options for that:
1) Restrict your content area to the width of the header graphic. Should you choose this option, make sure the header and content line up with each other.

2) Make the header graphic larger. A width of 950px (pixels) is becoming more popular with the larger monitors. Anything wider than that will affect those who use monitors smaller than 15 inches, such as on laptops.
