Hi All
I own a real estate agency in London and have a website that attracts a lot of visitors. I am looking to get into affiliate marketing. I was originally looking to find a niche a set up a new website following Ros's guidelines but wondered whether I could use the site I already have to do this.
Can anyone advise whether this might be a good or bad idea?
I could set up a blog etc as property is my interest
Simon

Hi Simon
Using an existing site that already gets a lot of traffic would be ideal for adding a blog. You will have the visitors already and will give them more to come back for. |

To get traffic, read the Super Affiliate Handbook.
To make you site more exciting, do something different. Add options for others to interact, like a blog, discussion forum, chat room, or some way for people to post messages. Wikis are an example, such as wikipedia.com. Each registered user has the option to edit the page and add their own thoughts.
Add splash, exciting graphics, something unusual for the visual effect. |

| Building on the current website with a good traffic would be the right thing to do. You can make a blog as an extension then to the site. |
