I've been trying to following SAH and the suggestions here to the T. I now have a bluehost acct and have set up a wordpress blog there. Of course I want a snappy looking site and purchased a 'revolution' wordpress theme.

Finally figured out how to get the right FileZilla download (kept doing the server). I know where my theme files are on MY PC, but can't figure out where to go on my bluehost acct to put the theme in the right folder for wordpress.

I will be very grateful for some help. My wife is getting tired of hearing cries of anguish from my home office.

Hi John

Bluehost uses cPanel. Log in there and look for the File Manager. Once that is open, click the folder icon next to public_html. If you installed the blog in your root folder, you will see other folders such as wp-content, wp-includes, wp-admin, etc. Otherwise, go to the folder where you installed the blog.

Once in there, go into the folders: wp-content > themes.
Create a new folder named revolution. Then click its icon to open that folder.

Now click the button or link named upload and select the files, one at a time, to upload them. You may also see other folders in there, such as images. You will create each one, go into the folders and continue uploading.

Once all files are uploaded, log into your WordPress Admin and click Design. Click on the screen preview for the new theme to activate it.

FileZilla makes the file transfers much easier because you can drag the revolution folder and upload it all at once.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Jim!

My theme is now working. Now for a bit of content. I'll try to not be too needy here, but I'm glad for the help.
