How do I link to a specific product on a program and still get credited with the commission. I get only seem to get the general URL which links to the merchants homepage.
Sorry to ask questions which are probably obvious

Log into the affiliate section of the site that sells the product you are promoting. They should have an affiliate link for you.
If not, the product may be selling on ClickBank.com. You can search for it there and get an affiliate link to the product. |

| If you mean that you have an affiliate link to the home page of the merchant but not a specific product, then it means the site will drop a cookie on the visitor's PC regardless of where they arrive. For example, this site drops a few cookies that will expire today or at the end of my session. Affiliate cookies can last as long as the site owner chooses. The merchant's affiliate software will detect your affiliate id so you will be credited for a purchase. You can always contact the affiliate manager to confirm this. |
