Hi all!
Iīm new here too and from Europe, Finland. There is one question that I have wondered... How about the taxes when you live in a nother country than whom you are affiliateng? Is putting up your own firm the only way to do this?
Sorry my maybe stupid question... |

Welcome to the forum!
Generally, an affiliate program manager will send you a W-9 that must be submitted to them before getting paid. For countries outside the USA, you can request they send you a W-8 form instead.
The IRS website has information on all the forms including form downloads and instructions, that can be viewed online or downloaded in PDF format. There are various W-8 forms, so to get the one the affiliate company needs, you can contact that company. |

This is really off topic from affiliate marketing, but a couple of my colleagues and I were discussing Finland's sport of Wife Carrying. What's the deal with that? |

Hi :D
Finnish are bit crazy time to time. But that wife carrying is just a joke  Maybe we have so boring here that we have to make up jokes like that to have a laugh at summers. (When even finnis are les uptight..heh..)
Nice question though.. Have a great ending week :D

I find it hilarious. I never heard anything like it before. But then again you can never take yourself too seriously, right?
Thanks and have yourself a great weekend as well! |

Hi again!
I think that when you get to know finnish people, were have quite good understandin to humor and laughing to almost anything. In less than 6 million people we have many different kind of people. Just like you have there in a "big world" =)
But I think that short summer really does "wonders" to us. Winter is long and dark tiime =(
Now its raining (5 days allready) and +10 celsius... about.. But its so dark most of the time. One have to DO something to have a great time. =)
Bye bye  |
