|

On Sunday, October 19, my brother will start his journey to Chicago.
His intent is to get the attention of the Oprah show so he can be a
guest. He has a very special message for America related to stopping
teen violence, bullying drug use and suicides.
His plan is to be outside the Oprah headquarters, but needs ideas on
how to get the attention of not only the staff, but the media and
others passing by. If enough people request he be on the show, he
stands a better chance of getting there.
If you have some ideas, please let me know. If you are willing to send
a request to Oprah, please visit his site at HelpGetTimOnOprah.com
While you are on his site, pick up his free book, Life Extreme.
Thank you! |

My brother went to Chicago, located the Oprah headquarters and met with a producer, who told him the story is "too powerful" for the show. Once they ran the story, apparently the producers would have a hard time topping it with future shows.
The only option my brother was given was to wait until Oprah planned on retiring and then be considered for an appearance. It would be something like saving the best for last.
Now, if I knew how to do publishing or managing the media, I would have picked up on this project a long time ago. Instead all I knew how to do was proof read and edit the book. The original publisher bought the rights to the first book, so my brother wrote another one, just as powerful as the first. Then added a second book.
Now nine years and over $[restricted] later, getting turned down to getting the word out on one of the most popular shows is quite a crush. He is not giving up yet though. Someone, somewhere, must know how to get his word out to help stop teen violence and drug usage.
Anyway, just thought I would update you with the current news. Tim would rather help the teens than drive a truck the rest of his life.
Thanks for reading. |
