Hi folks,
Greetings from Ireland #1. Long time fan first time poster
#2 - Can anybody recommend a resource for buying ezine ads from? I just checked back on two sites I knew of and one of them has gone out of business and the other is charging a flat fee of $147 for access to info.
Are there any cheaper resources out there?
Basically I need to advertise a new video product I've developed on customer service and need to get the word out there and I figure Ezines and Press Release are the way to go (listed in Clickbank too of course
Any help, thoughts or advice would be really welcome.
Thanks in advance.

| There is a way to get advertisements out there, and it is a bit of work, but a good way to go about it is to directly contact the ezine authors, explain your product, and ask about ad rates. This would save that $147 charge at least. |

| I found this looking around online. The ezines seemed geared toward home businesses and internet marketing but may be worth a look. The minium price they do anything for is $5. I was never a math whiz but I think that's less than $147. |

Hi Niall,
Although I do recommend Michael Green's "Ezine Editor's List" and Charlie Page's "Directory of Ezines", truly the best way to go is as tyrithe suggested and just start looking for relevant but non-competing merchants with newsletters and contact them directly.
Better yet, set them up with an affiliate account, send them some good ad copy with their affiliate link embedded and you'll get an ongoing source of revenue... not just a one-time ad insertion.
Cheers,
Ros |

Hi Rosalind,
Charlie Pages was the one I used to have like a Bronze membership to but they've changed to a single lifetime fee. Oh well :-/
Love the idea of setting them up with an affiliate account and sending ad copy in advance - very nice
Thanks again folks
