Alright so I'm using a theme I should have never used. I'm far along and don't really want to switch. My meta tags and title tags needed tweeking to help with the SEO side of things. I am trying to use the ALL in ONe SEO Plugin that i found with wordpress.

The problem is that I now I have 2 descriptions. I can obviously delete the description left over from the theme. But the new description and keywords are halfway down the stinking page source!!! How can I change that? I can't find it anywhere in my header.php. The title is great!

Rosalind, just purchased your book and read it cover to cover. I have a domain name parked but it's address has a - (hypen) in it. And after reading your book that is kind of a no no. I also have a merchant account with stores online and will be spending the next few weeks setting this up. My question is can I do affiliate marketing on my merchant account. I am in the process of setting up a website using Wordpress and I was wondering if anyone has used the datafeeds from Goldencan in Wordpress? Any problems or issues? My second question has to deal with Linkshare and CJ. I noticed that some of the links (even on recent links) do not work. For example, on Ros's (Sorry, Ros) Roamsters site posting at roamsters.com/category/travel-gear/ some of the links do not open and the error "cant establish a connection" comes up. Does anyone know why this happens? I have seen this on numerous sites? Is there a way to keep this from happening?

Submitted My First Press Release

A lot of what I do is research on marketing tactics, while putting much of it to use - eventually. Getting a press release submitted, putting myself out there for the whole world to see, was nerve racking. So many questions raced through my head that I wanted each of them answered before actually submitting a release.

Press releases are something I have wanted to do for a long time, but wanted to "get it right" first. This goes back to so many people saying to just "do something" instead of waiting for it to be "perfect". I finally followed my own advise.

I was up real late Saturday and submitted a press release at midnight. At 12:30 AM, a lady from PRWeb.com called to discuss it. Many of my fears were calmed when she said the press release was written well, very professional, was within the allowed word limit and no changes were needed.

All she needed was the contact information to put with the release and know when I wanted it submitted. That press release was published today just after midnight. Now we wait to see what effect it has on getting visitors.
