I am in the process of setting up a website using Wordpress and I was wondering if anyone has used the datafeeds from Goldencan in Wordpress? Any problems or issues? My second question has to deal with Linkshare and CJ. I noticed that some of the links (even on recent links) do not work. For example, on Ros's (Sorry, Ros) Roamsters site posting at roamsters.com/category/travel-gear/ some of the links do not open and the error "cant establish a connection" comes up. Does anyone know why this happens? I have seen this on numerous sites? Is there a way to keep this from happening?
Thanks. |

Hello misskesha
I have seen the the datafeeds from Goldencan but never used them, so I will not be much help to you there.
In Wordpress you can add news/data feeds using the RSS plugins.
You can get those at http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/
Search for feedwordpress (syndicates content from feeds you choose into your WordPress weblog).
Once installed and activated, you can set up your feeds.
As for the links not opening, since it is happening on multiple sites, that tells me it is an issue with something on your computer. What you should do is clear your cache (Temporary Internet Files in Internet Explorer), close everything and restart your computer.
While doing that you should also restart your modem. If it is a DSL or cable modem, unplug it, wait 1 minute and plug it back in. If you are on dial-up then the modem will be reset when you reboot your computer. |
