i was looking at the Site Build It site for setting up my website as recommended in SAH.
As I am working full time and have two small kids this seems like the best option as it is less time consuming.
Is there anything else I should consider before signing up and paying the fee?

According to the handbook and I think the same, the easiest way is to use some of the companies where you will host your site, and the most important thing is that they have cPanel and once you sign up with them you immediately have your site build it in WordPress format and that's it.
Advice you to read from page 55 to 81 and stressing your reding specifically from page 61 to 81 BEST OPTION #3 DO-IT-YOURSELF. |

If technical skill is not your strongest point, you should really consider using SBI. It is a great option.
A blog, in my opinion, requires the same learning curve but in some cases you are on your own. It needs some time to setup and optimize for SEO, which you don't need to do with SBI. |
