Comparing the two companies, DIYeStore.com charges extra for the graphics. SiteSell.com has an option to Brainstorm your site before you build it, plus they offer more tools including promotions and are better known than DIYeStores.com.
If I was just starting out and had to choose between those two, I would probably go with SiteSell.com. |

| Since I have not used either one, maybe another member here has more input on that. I was just comparing the offerings between the two sites. |

SiteSell has a better reputation for "user-friendliness"...while DIY will probably do you better overall for "business".
Depends on what is important to you. |

| Thank you so much for reading my question and helping me out .. I think you are right it may come down to just getting the graphics i want from one of their designers and either trying it myself or well i am in the process of finding out how user friendly their system in .. alternatively, they dont charge tooo much for having someone just set ip up for me which might be even better ... again thanks so much for the help as well as that of Mr. Hutchinson .. its nice to know people can help even if they dont even know you thats awesome .. THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I have just recently sign up for Sitesell. Actually 4 months now. Haven't tried DIYestores. So no comment on it.
From my experience with sitesell so far I find it very easy to use for a beginner. It has instructional videos i think for all the ten modules as well as written instructions. So its great especially if you learn better by viewing. Plus they update their videos with new topics.
The brainstorm keyword tutorial is good. It teaches you how to build your site on a main theme. Then it teaches you how to expand tier 2 and tier 3 pages with other keywords based on demand and profitability.
Its sitebuilder allows a novice to build a page with ease. Furthermore, it has an analyse it tool which tells you whether you have build the page that satisfies the search engines. However, I do find the sitebuilder to clunky. I guess I have to learn some html to build a 3 column website as opposed to the two column you buiuld using sitebuilder.
I have just build my first site its here http://www.stock-investing-for-beginners.com, still need more time to learn how to build a website using html editor. Anyone got a good recommendation?
Sitesell is indeed more popular than DIYestores judging from its Alexa ranking. So, no bias here, but would always prefer something that more people have found useful.
It cost about 300 per year for hosting, domain and all the tools but if you know a friend who has SBI you can ararnge with him/her to give you a rebate of 75$. Hope this helps... |
