Is it better to set up a page on an existing site to promote a product peripherally related to its theme or a totally separate site with a unique domain name?
I use XSitePro, so they both take the same amount of time, except for that darned two-day wait until your new domain name clears... |

Hey Dan,
That depends how 'peripheral' the product is to your theme.
If it's a 'natural', like selling golf shirts on a site that focuses primarily on golf balls, then keep it in the fold.
But you may want to keep the baseballs off your golf ball site... unless you broaden the scope to 'balls for sport'.
Cheers,
