| With the onslaught of Social Networking opportunities some people seem to think common sense and manners don't apply. The reality is, Social Networks are like any other type of network. Most sane people wouldn't walk up to someone at a business meeting, ask for their card and say, "Okay, now you are my friend and I am going to slam you with stupid phone calls, junk mail and other useless garbage." Find out what you should and should not do to get the most out of Social Networks. |

Hi roy
I think that you should determine what you want to get out of social networking before diving in and gear your communications towards that goal. |

Hi Roy,
Funny you should mention manners (and you're absolutely correct about how some, if not most, completely forget etiquette once they've got a Facebook account and a few friends) because our latest blog post, by guest blogger Elizabeth Orr is "How Common Courtesy Benefits Your Online Business".
The simplest things do mean SO much and maybe even more now.
Cheers,
